Child kidnapped by father found safe in Wyoming

WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — A child reportedly kidnapped from a home in Newaygo County was found and safely returned to their mother over the weekend.

The Newaygo County Sheriff’s Office says they were dispatched just before 11 p.m. Friday to a home on North Centerline Road in Monroe Township for a “parental kidnapping complaint.” The child’s mother said the child’s father took them from the home in Monroe Township and likely took them to his home in Wyoming.
