Shot Fired, Suspects Sought After Overnight Burglary Attempt at North Side Condo Unit

HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Feb. 12, 2024) – Suspects are being sought after an overnight burglary attempt at a North Side residence on Monday. Not many details were initially disclosed by Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Christopher Dill after the 4:10 AM incident in the Crystal Waters condominium complex off of Riley Street between 120th Avenue and US-31. Responding deputies, augmented by officers from the Holland Department of Public Safety and the Zeeland Police Department, found that the suspects had forced their way inside. One of the suspects fired a single round from a hand gun at the occupant of the condo unit, but apparently missed, as Dill said that nobody was injured in the incident, and no suspects were immediately apprehended.
