HOLLAND — For years, Boston Market stood at the corner of 16th Street and US-31, its iconic sign beckoning commuters to make a pitstop.
That ended for good last summer, when construction crews began the process of leveling the building and prepping for new businesses.
As of Friday, Feb. 16, those operations, Seven Brew Coffee and Take Five Oil Change, are nearing completion — with driveways and exteriors complete and interior work underway.
The buildings are notably small. The oil change business is 1,763 square feet, and the coffee shop is just 510 square feet. The shop has two drive-thru lanes and a third lane to serve as a pass-thru. The oil change business has three bays for service.
Seven Brew has 192 stands in operation, including two in Traverse City. The shop specializes in lattes, mochas, teas, smoothies, shakes and fizzes.
Take Five, meanwhile, has locations in Grand Rapids, Comstock Park, Monroe, St. Joseph and Warren.
There’s currently no timetable for when the two businesses will open.
