SB US-131 reopens after Byron Township crash

BYRON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — The southbound lanes of US-131 have reopened after a crash in Byron Township Thursday morning.

Kent County dispatchers said a semi-truck crashed into the guard rail around 5 a.m. Thursday. There were no reports of injuries.

The highway was closed for more than an hour. It has since reopened.

It’s unknown what led to the crash.
