KENT COUNTY, MI — Firefighters rescued dozens of animals from a burning barn in Ada, about 16 miles south of Grand Rapids, on Friday night. The Cascade Township Fire Department responded to a fire at Melody Bee Farms, 8650 52nd Street SE, around 11:10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6, said Deputy Chief Todd Stevenson.
