GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A job fair will be held at the courthouse in downtown Grand Rapids Friday.
The job fair is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the fifth floor of the Kent County Courthouse on Ottawa Avenue NW .
Hosted by the 61st District Court Eviction Diversion Team with support from the Urban League of West Michigan, Hope Network and Express Employment Professionals, the job fair follows an employment readiness event late last month at which people got help to prepare resumes and practice for interviews.
“The aim is to equip attendees with the necessary tools for long-term stability,” a release from the court said.
