“Lakers! Let’s anchor up and get registered to vote this fall,” Grand Valley State University President Philomena V. Mantella said in a Thursday release.

It’s part of the 2024 Campus Voter Registration Challenge from Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, which also pits Western Michigan University against Eastern Michigan University and Central Michigan University in the Mid-American Conference.

“Let’s go Broncos and get every eligible student registered to vote this fall!” said Western Michigan University President Edward Montgomery.
