MSP: Pedestrian injured in Grand Rapids Township crash

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities say a pedestrian was seriously injured in a crash near Grand Rapids Thursday morning.

Michigan State Police said the crash happened at the intersection of Crahen Avenue and Fulton Street in Grand Rapids Township.

State police said the vehicle was turning on a green arrow signal and struck the pedestrian who was crossing the street.

The pedestrian was taken to the hospital in serious condition, according to MSP.

The intersection was closed as authorities investigated and worked to clear the scene. It has since reopened.
