Authorities believe a truck inside a barn caught fire, according to a Saranac fire official on scene. He said the barn was part of a commercial office furniture business.

The fire didn’t spread beyond the barn, the official told News 8, but the structure — which dates back to the 1880s — is considered a total loss. No injuries were reported.

Storm Team 8 reported that smoke from the fire was showing up on radar.
