Renovations move some Kent County Health Department services

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The Kent County Health Department is moving a few services out of its main clinic while it undergoes renovations.

Starting Monday, Women, Infants and Children and immunization services will not be offered at the main clinic site at 700 Fuller Ave. NE near I-196 in Grand Rapids.

You can still access those services at other clinic sites , including the North Clinic just outside Cedar Springs, the South Clinic in Kentwood and the Sheldon Clinic in Grand Rapids.

The county said the upgrades will improve capacity at the Fuller Clinic and improve patient confidentiality by adding separate waiting rooms, exam rooms and soundproofing. The work should be finished in early 2026.

To schedule an appointment or to get more information, you can call the health department at 616.632.7200.
