Grand Rapids, MI – A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for portions of Michigan as lake effect snow and hazardous conditions are expected. Snowfall is predicted to begin at 7 p.m. Monday and persist through 1 a.m. Wednesday.
According to the National Weather Service, areas in southwest and west-central Michigan, including Grand Rapids, Muskegon, and Kalamazoo, could receive between 2 and 4 inches of snow. Some locations may see isolated higher totals. Wind gusts will create blowing and drifting snow, reducing visibility and creating slippery road conditions.
