ST. CHARLES, Mich. (WNEM) – Thousands of homeowners in mid-Michigan are without power after strong storms and winds blew through Saturday morning.
According to the Consumers Energy Outage map, as of 1 p.m. Saturday, Mar. 15, thousands near and around St. Charles, Garfield, and Saginaw Township, among others, are waiting for their lights to turn back on.
According to the TV5 First Alert Weather team, strong, yet sub-severe, storms with pea-sized hail moved through mid-Michigan early Saturday morning. Strong winds are expected to continue into Saturday evening, which could lead to more outages…
