No charges for MSP troopers who fatally shot alleged deputy killer

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – No charges will be filed against the Michigan State Police troopers who shot and killed a wanted fugitive.

On June 27, 2024, MSP Troopers engaged in a gunfight with fugitive Eric Michael Fiddler, 34, of Jonesville. Police were pursuing Fiddler after he allegedly shot and killed a Hillsdale Co. Deputy during a traffic stop.
