Grand Rapids child dies after head-on crash in northern Michigan

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A Grand Rapids child involved in a head-on crash over the weekend has died.

St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School confirmed the child’s passing in a letter to the school community Tuesday night.

The Marco family was involved in the crash around 3:30 p.m. Sunday on US-131 near Day Road in Kalkaska County.
