Multiple Forest Hills Public Schools temporarily locked school doors following incident in nearby neighborhood

FOREST HILLS, Mich. — Multiple schools in the Forest Hills Public Schools district locked their doors for about 15 minutes Friday following an incident in a nearby neighborhood.

A letter sent home to parents of students at Central High School, Central Middle School and Central Woodlands 5/6 School said that the Kent County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) was called to an incident in a community neighborhood.
