Vehicle pulled from Crockery Twp creek; driver not found

CROCKERY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A vehicle was pulled from a creek in Crockery Township early Friday morning, and the driver was nowhere to be found.

Around 1:45 a.m., deputies and divers with the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office and crews with the Crockery Township Fire Department were sent to the intersection of Leonard Street and 112th Avenue after receiving reports about a vehicle submerged in a creek.

Responding crews learned that a 2024 Ford Escape was heading southeast on 112th Avenue and didn’t make the turn at Leonard Street. The Ford went through the guardrail and into the creek…
