Grand Rapids culinary scene continues to grow. A new eatery serving up authentic Brazilian food is set to open soon!
It’s always sad to see a restaurant close. Earlier this year we told you that 3 Gatos Brewing in Wyoming had shut down. The Brazilian-inspired restaurant and bar originally opened in Wyoming in 2021.

Well, if you’ve been missing a place to get your Brazilian food fix – good news! A new spot is opening up in its place! Pac Brazilian Restaurant is set to open at 1760 44th St. SW in Wyoming this week.
In a post to Facebook, the owners explain their story saying,
Our journey began in Florida, when we opened our first pizza restaurant just before the pandemic hit. It was a dream coming true… until the world shut down. We lost our team, we lost stability — and suddenly it was just our family running everything. Seven days a week, from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., doing all we could to survive. But the stress and exhaustion took a toll. We were worn out, physically and emotionally. So we made the hardest decision of all — to step away, not because we gave up, but because we needed to heal. We spent over a year away from the kitchen, focusing on what mattered most: our health, our family, and our future. Then, we started over — right here in Grand Rapids — with a food truck. And from the very beginning, this community embraced us. The support, the kindness, the encouragement… it reignited our dream.

They go on to say they eventually bought another food truck in Florida, but that divided their family between two states. The decision was made to focus on Grand Rapids: “Because this city believed in us. And now, we believe in this city.”…
