GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A former preschool worker at a Rockford church has pleaded no contest to stealing thousands of dollars over several years.
Susan Kacsits, who worked as a bookkeeper and accountant at Saint Peter’s Lutheran Preschool, entered the no contest plea Monday, the same day she was set to stand trial.
The charge, embezzlement of $100,000 or more, is punishable by up to 20 years in prison. Sentencing is scheduled for June.
