GRAND RAPIDS, MI –Christopher Schurr, the former Grand Rapids police officer on trial next week in Patrick Lyoya’s killing, has asked a federal judge to issue a gag order in a separate civil case filed by Lyoya’s family.
“This campaign has been designed to influence public opinion against Schurr on the merits of this case,” Henderson wrote.
