OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. — A 15-year-old girl was hospitalized Saturday with serious injuries after she was pinned inside her vehicle following a crash.
The crash happened around 5:45 p.m. in the intersection of 104th Avenue and Van Buren Street. A Kia Niro, driven by a 15-year-old Jenison girl, was driving southbound on 104th Street when it turned onto Van Buren Street and completed a U-turn.
The Kia then disregarded a stop sign continued into the intersection, deputies say. A northbound Chevrolet Silverado attempted to avoid the Kia but crashed into it, causing both vehicles to crash and come to rest in a field…
