Cedar Springs suspect arrested in business burglaries, found lying in field

CEDAR SPRINGS, Mich. — A 49-year-old Cedar Springs man has been charged with multiple felonies in connection with a series of business break-ins that began in late December, the Kent County Sheriff’s Office announced.

Matthew Robinson was arraigned on charges related to business break-ins and fleeing from police after a four-month investigation that began with overnight burglaries in Plainfield and Algoma townships on Dec. 28, 2024.
