GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Grand Rapids’ mayor says city leaders are committed to building a more equitable city, soon after one of the city’s former police officer’s murder case was closed.
Mayor David LaGrand shared his thoughts with MLive/The Grand Rapids on the same day the Kent County prosecutor officially closed former police officer Christopher Schurr‘s murder trial for the fatal shooting of a Black man.
