Grand Rapids man faces multiple charges after police standoff

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Grand Rapids man who was arrested after an hours-long standoff with police is facing multiple felony charges.

Chris Reimer, 68, is accused of pointing a rifle at an ex-girlfriend when she went to collect her things and then refusing to comply with Grand Rapids police during a subsequent standoff in the 600 block of Fuller Avenue SE on Wednesday, May 28.

According to court documents filed against him, an ex-girlfriend told detectives she met Reimer on a dating app and she eventually moved in with him…
