LOWELL, Mich. — A local Boy Scout is using his Eagle Scout project for Lowell Troop 102 to help save the bats in West Michigan.
Sam Konyndyk planned and built eight bat boxes, which are man-made shelters for bats, to encourage the bats to stay in areas with fewer natural roosting sites.
