GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Gas prices in Grand Rapids have surged more than 11 cents per gallon over the past week, creating a stark contrast with falling fuel costs across much of the nation.
According to GasBuddy’s latest survey of 246 local stations, Grand Rapids drivers are now paying an average of $3.24 per gallon as of Monday, marking an 11.2-cent increase from the previous week.
