Downtown Grand Rapids pub temporarily closed

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A longtime pub in downtown Grand Rapids has had its liquor license suspended and is temporarily closed.

A notice posted on the front window of Flanagan’s Irish Pub informed passersby and would-be patrons of the suspension.

“The Michigan Liquor Control Commission has suspended the license of this establishment … for failure to pay fines of $1000,” the sign said…
