Walking up to MeXo, a pre-Hispanic restaurant, you’re greeted by a very unassuming white façade with a mural of “Aztlan” on the west exterior wall depicting a timeline of Central American cultures, painted by local artist Arturo Morales Romero.
Inside MeXo, located on Fulton Street, the walls are adorned with original paintings, and the ceiling is draped with traditional papel picado. Our server, with a smile, was ready to guide us to our table…
