$1.8M investment to Calder Plaza meant to modernize site

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Changes are coming to Calder Plaza in downtown Grand Rapids.

At the Plaza Sunday, the 9th Annual Grand Rapids Asian Pacific Festival brought culture and community to the heart of downtown. While the musical performances, traditional foods and local artists drew crowds, the plaza that hosts it may look different soon.
