Stretch of northbound M-37 closing for rebuilding project

KENTWOOD, Mich. (WOOD) — A section of M-37 in Kentwood is set to close Monday morning.

Starting at 7 a.m., northbound M-37 — also known as Broadmoor Avenue — will close between 44th Street and 60th Street. Drivers will still be able to access eastbound and westbound 60th Street from northbound M-37, but they won’t be able to access northbound Patterson Avenue from M-37, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation. This closure is expected to continue through early July.

It’s part of a $12 million project to rebuild M-37. The project is happening in stages, starting with northbound M-37 and then moving to the southbound lanes. Officials say the project should wrap up in mid-October…
