GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The Richmond Park Pool in Grand Rapids was temporarily closed on Saturday due to contamination, the city said.
According to the city of Grand Rapids Park and Recreation the pool reopened later in the afternoon.

The pool’s start to the 2025 season was delayed after maintenance crews discovered a chlorine pump failure in late May during a routine pre-season inspection. It opened for the season on Thursday after a new pump and motor were installed.
