GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) – A murder suspect in the Kent County Jail is facing a new charge.
Sheriff’s deputies say Dominike Sterling passed a note to an inmate to give to Tyriq Bettison, telling him to get a piece of metal sharpened.
Bettison received the note, but the second inmate gave the metal piece to the Jail Intelligence Unit and told them Sterling had another shank in his possession…
