GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A pizza spot in downtown Grand Rapids is closing so its owners can focus on other projects, the restaurant announced Wednesday.
The Foolery opened just a year and a half ago, in December of 2023, next to its sibling restaurant, Social Misfits. It served Detroit-style square pan pizza, craft cocktails and beer as well as pasties and salads.
The pizza joint will officially close its doors July 11. In a Facebook post Wednesday, the owners wrote that while it was a “tough call” to close The Foolery, it would allow them to focus their full energy on growing their other brands: Social Misfits and Misfit Society Coffee Club…
