GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The City of Grand Rapids will soon be looking for a new city attorney as Anita Hitchcock retires after 23 years.
Hitchcock has served as the city attorney since 2016. She began her career with the city in 2002 as an assistant city attorney in the Enforcement Division of the Department of Law. She later led that division before being appointed city attorney following a nationwide search.
