EAST GRAND RAPIDS, MI – East Grand Rapids kept to the classics this Fourth of July.
The city celebrated Independence Day with a parade, activities for the family, food trucks, and a mesmerizing water show performed by the Grand City Show Skiers Friday, July 4, on Reeds Lake. The activities were scheduled to run until 3:30 p.m., with music and fireworks starting at 8 p.m.
More than 35 groups participated in the parade, including the Grand Rapids and District Pipe Band, East Grand Rapids drumline, classic cars, city trucks and even little tractors. They walked down Wealthy Street and along Lakeside Drive as onlookers cheered and waved American flags…
