WAYLAND, MI — A burger chain that nearly went extinct is making its comeback, with two Hot ‘n Now locations opening soon in Michigan.
Owners are preparing for the summer opening of the beloved brand’s Wayland-area location in West Michigan and fall opening of a restaurant in Alpena.
The 737-square-foot drive-thru building — with its iconic metal roof — that’s coming to Wayland is being assembled in Alpena by B Cubed Manufacturing. It’s being built with a “plug and play” concept, allowing the structure to be manufactured off site and assembled on location.
Once the Wayland location opens at 1146 129th Ave., it will operate from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays, and from 10:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
The restaurant is directly behind Gun Lake Investments’ Noonday Market and across the street from Gun Lake Casino…
