GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The Catholic Diocese of Grand Rapids is planning to close some churches and reorganize others because of a lack of priests to run the parishes.
“Even though there are seminarians and new priests coming in, there’s just a change in scale overall,” Rev. Rob Mulderink, vocations director for the diocese, said.
