Hudsonville graduate injured in shooting in Alabama

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A Hudsonville High School graduate was injured in a shooting in Birmingham, Alabama, Saturday night, his family says.

Ethan Carter remained in the hospital Sunday after having been shot multiple times. A post from the Hudsonville football program indicated he was being treated for injuries to the hand, arm, chest, throat and head, though he was conscious as of Sunday morning.

“The Carter family would appreciate your prayers as they navigate through this time of uncertainty and difficulty,” the post read.
