GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A Grand Rapids resident is suing Monster Beverage Corporation, alleging that she drank a Monster Energy drink and then discovered a dead mouse inside the can.
According to the lawsuit, which was previously filed in state court but was transferred to federal court last week, the woman bought the energy drink from a shop in Grand Rapids in April 2024.
“Upon consuming the drink, (she) picked up the can and realized the can was still oddly heavy,” the lawsuit says. “Out of curiosity, (she) opened the can further, and to her horror, found a dead mouse laying in the bottom of the can.”…
