GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The auto technicians at Butch’s Car Care off of Alpine Ave. started work at 6:00 a.m. Thursday morning to try and beat the heat. Although they started hours before they were originally scheduled to start, it was still 81 degrees by the time they opened up the shop doors.
“As soon as you open the hood on a car to take a look at something minus the 110 degrees that’s in the shop, you get 210 degrees underneath the hood that you’re opening up to play with,” said Phil Kasnowicz.
