Plainfield Twp. business owners face what they call an increase in vandalism

KENT COUNTY, Mich. — Plainfield Twp. has been hit hard by vandalism this summer, and small business owners aren’t happy.

Business owners in the area say that over the past year, they’ve seen an uptick in the amount of graffiti appearing near their storefronts, particularly on typical targets for vandalism like electrical boxes.
