Grand Rapids looks to use drones to study downtown parking usage

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – If you see a drone hovering above a parking lot in downtown Grand Rapids, it could be part of a parking study being led by the city.

The city is considering using drones to collect data on capacity and utilization of parking downtown, including when and where parking is used at different times of the day and week.
