A local construction executive has acquired a majority equity stake in Grand Rapids-based Cella Building Co. as its CEO retires.
Steve Achram, who has more than 23 years of experience leading development, design and construction teams across a range of development projects, acquired the construction firm in a deal that closed July 31.
As the new owner of the company, Achram will guide Cella after CEO Mike Coyne’s retirement. Peter Skornia will remain as Cella president running day-to-day operations.
