MLK Park Pool closed for the rest of the summer

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — MLK Park Pool is closed for the rest of the summer, according to the city of Grand Rapids.

City officials say that they learned that the pump is in need of a new motor that won’t arrive before the pool was originally scheduled to close for the season on Aug. 16.

The pool initially closed on July 25 for repairs, but has not reopened since.
