Bus driver facing multiple OWI charges in Grand Rapids Civic Theater crash

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The driver behind the wheel of a bus that crashed this spring and severely injured two people on I-96 is accused of operating while intoxicated.

Angela Fitzgerald, 45, of Grand Rapids, is facing two counts of operating while intoxicated causing serious injury, three counts of operating while intoxicated with an occupant less than 16, operating while intoxicated and two counts of move violation causing serious impairment of a body function.
