New York Traffic Stop Leads to Drug and Weapons Arrest on Taconic Parkway

East Fishkill, NY – A Michigan man was taken into custody after New York State Police said a routine traffic stop uncovered drugs, a firearm, and fraudulent documents late Tuesday night.

According to New York State Police Troop K, troopers pulled over a Buick sedan at approximately 10:40 p.m. Tuesday while it was traveling northbound on the Taconic State Parkway in East Fishkill for traffic violations. The driver was identified as Jordan K. Gilmore, 34, of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Police said Gilmore consented to a search of the vehicle, which allegedly turned up a stolen, loaded Jimenez Arms pistol, about 22.2 grams of crack cocaine, 34.2 grams of crystal methamphetamine, a fraudulent Florida driver’s license, debit cards under a false name, and a digital scale…
