GRAND RAPIDS, MI — The Grand Rapids Public Museum is set to unveil a nearly complete mastodon skeleton to the public on Thursday, Sept. 11, marking the culmination of three years of preservation work.
The exhibit will feature a fully articulated standing mount, allowing visitors to see one of the most complete American mastodon specimens ever found.
