Next week the Kent County Veterans Services will host veterans, vendors, and volunteers at its fourth annual Homeless Veteran Stand Down.It’s a gathering in partnership with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
It’s a free event open to all Kent County veterans and will provide access to food, clothing and health screenings.
Ryan Grams, Director of Kent County Veterans Services says, “Kent County is deeply committed to supporting our veterans, especially those who are most vulnerable,” adding, “Our veterans have dedicated themselves to serving our country, and it’s our duty and privilege to provide them with the resources and assistance they need.”…
