GRAND RAPIDS. Mich. (WOOD) — A moped stuffed with several pounds of drugs in Comstock Park now has a paroled drug dealer returning to prison.
A Kent County judge on Thursday sentenced Joseph Ivy-Maze III to 5 to 7.5 years imprisonment on drug charges stemming from a raid a year ago that netted an assortment of drugs hidden in a moped and elsewhere.
In all, investigators seized more than 5 pounds of methamphetamine, 1.7 pounds of fentanyl and at least 2.2 pounds of cocaine.

In addition to state prison, Ivy-Maze, 42, also has federal prison hanging over his head. At the time of his arrest last year, he was on federal probation for a 2007 drug bust in Kent County. He now faces a separate term for violating terms of that probation.
