GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Earlier this month, Michigan’s Attorney General’s Office filed a civil lawsuit in Ingham County Circuit Court against Calton’s Lawncare and Landscaping LLC, Aron Calton and his wife, Leslie Calton.
This comes after several stories done by the 13 Help Team looking into the Caltons’ business practices. Several people, including Aron’s brother, have accused the landscaper of taking money for jobs and either not showing up or not completing the work.
On Aug. 8, the AG’s Office filed the lawsuit in Ingham County Circuit Court. It states that the couple also own and operate Lake Michigan Pool and Outdoor Services, a company that is not registered with the state. It also alleges that it is believed the Caltons operate under “other entities and aliases.”…
