MDOT studying plan to create a fourth passenger rail route in Michigan

LANSING – The Michigan Department of Transportation is developing a plan to potentially construct the state’s fourth passenger rail route.

The proposed east-west route would carry passengers across the Lower Peninsula, connecting Holland and Grand Rapids with Detroit.
